Hi, it's me, Kalle. You just woke me up. Have you got something for me to eat?

too much happiness
Last night it snowed a lot and it continued during the day. We went to visit friends today, Nora and I, and I brought my latest knitting. Fingerless mittens for my sister. I didn't bring the book, but at home I'm reading "Too much happiness". Knitting and reading, that is happiness, right?

My mittens
I'm that kind of person who begins a lot of knittings, and finish few. I don't know what happened around New Year, because since then I've done nothing but picking up old knittings and finished them. There's such a pleasure in finishing things. Those mittens were finished just before the coldest days we've had this winter, and they made their job. They kept my hands warm. I knitted them in thick, soft merino (Malabrigo Rasta).

Felting
Such a cold winter day as today one needs very warm mittens. So I felted this one. I need another one, for my left hand ;-)
I will hold a workshop on wet felting mittens. Tova vantar = felting mittens.

winter-y
We didn't have snow until recently. Winter was really late this year and I was already looking forward to spring when temperatures suddenly fell and it started snowing. Nora is happy about it though.

and I'm back
At home and in bed with a sick child = many books to read out load (and a few for myself) and perhaps a little bit of knitting.
