A pair of socks

Not that I have finished last week's knitting, but it's grown a bit at least. Here's another knitting I have going on. It's socks for Nora (left over yarn from the socks in knitted to my mother in law for Christmas).

Tomorrow evening I will go to a sock knitting class! I have already knitted two and a half pair of socks so I'm not a total beginner, but it'll be nice to have an hour and a half every second week devoted exclusively to knitting. (When I knit at home it's just a few minutes here and there and I almost always tell stories to Nora while knitting.)

Shades of Grey

When looking at interior blogs the last few weeks (mostly Swedish and European ones), I've noticed that there's a lot of grey. Soft grey, warm grey, light grey, hard grey ... grey in all shades.

I prefer color this time of the year. It's so grey anyway:

Knitting for baby

Yarn along with Ginny again.

I have several knittings going on.
And several books I'm reading.

I guess  I'm not the only knitter/reader doing like that ;-)

But this is what I was knitting reading yesterday before falling asleep. The knitting is for our baby and I'm knitting this one (Ravelry link), but in Drops Lima instead of merino yarn.

The book is about marketing.

My Mad Hatter Tea Party + news

I became pregnant just after writing my last post here in June, and because of Hyperemesis I haven't been blogging here for several months. I'm much better now, I can keep everything I eat and I can even cook again (although some meat is still difficult as well as a few other things). Because of pelvic girdle pain (is that the correct word in English?) I can't walk so much more than to the car and back, so I mostly see the beautiful snowy landscape from the car or from my kitchen.

But baby is growing and kicking and it's now only two months left. Spring time and a baby. They'll both arrive around Nora's 5th birthday :D

Those last few months I've been able to work a bit, although only from home and slowly. Two days ago I held my last workshop (for a very long time): Mad Hatter Tea Party. We were crafting: clay food miniatures, crocheting cakes and cookies (my friend Therese was teaching crochet) and making cake stands. We had lunch and tea and lots of sweet things to eat. And we talked and laughed and had a very good time. You can see some of the photos here:
